Our client is a proud, locally owned and operated company with a 20-year history of excellence in the South Australian steel and rural sectors. Operating from their 10 acre site in Gepps Cross, they are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Internal Sales Representative to join their established team.

Whether you are an experienced sales professional or a motivated school leaver looking to kickstart your career, they offer job security, extensive training, and a clear path for development.

The Role

This is a high-energy, front-line position where you will be the face of their company for both trade clients and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to walk-in customers at our sales counter.
• Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-standing relationships with new and existing trade partners.
• Quoting & Sales: Generate professional email and telephone quotations tailored to specific customer needs.
• Inquiry Management: Promptly respond to all customer queries with a high level of telephone manner.
• Product Expertise: Learn our extensive range of steel and rural products (on-the-job training provided).

About You

You are a "people person" who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in a professional personal presentation.

What we are looking for:

• Service Focused: A strong commitment to customer service and building rapport.
• Tech Savvy: Good computer and keyboard skills for quoting and order entry.
• Experience: A background in sales is an advantage, but we value attitude and industry knowledge (Steel, Rural, or Trade backgrounds) just as highly.
• Enthusiasm: A proactive, "can-do" approach to work and learning.

Hours & Benefits

• Standard Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Overtime Opportunity: Once fully trained, you can participate in our Saturday roster at overtime rates.
• Competitive Salary: Negotiated to attract the best talent in the Adelaide market.
• Career Entry: Specialized training programs available for school leavers.
